Our very own Celena Dayoub got married this past weekend and it was truly something worth celebrating and praising God for! We are rejoicing over Celena and Cooper’s wedlock as they start their life together and embark on the journey that is marriage. Celena has served with us for several years in many capacities as a volunteer and staff member. She helps run our High School ministry and helps oversee all of our student missions events and programs. When she returns from her honeymoon, please take the time to congratulate her and Cooper.

Spring Break is here and we are praying for your travels, rest, and return into the last part of the spring semester. I have many fond memories of trips that I have taken over the years during spring break, but I have really enjoyed the times when there was nothing on the calendar. It is those spring breaks that I found to be the most restful and refreshing when preparing for the last months of the school year. No matter what your plans are over the next couple of weeks, we hope they serve your family well and we, in the student ministry, want to participate in our own Spring Break.

There will be no Sunday Night Fellowship this Sunday. We will pick up SNF on March 31st.

Join the Tournament!

It is a Kirk Student Ministry tradition that we put together our own bracket competition. If you want to join the KSM bracket frenzy, we invite all who are daring. It is always fun to see past leaders, alumni of the ministry, and current students engage in the impossible task of guessing which college basketball team will truly survive the March Madness Tournament.

It is a great time to sign up for The Overnight. If you are are Middle School student and are wanting to experience all the fun that St. Louis has in store for you, attending The Overnight is a great opportunity to hang out with friends, have some good food, and play hard at various venues across St. Louis and within the Kirk.

A Brand New Event

We want to give Easter the hype that it deserves, so we are installing an Easter Party into our annual calendar. This party will be held on a Wednesday night, so D Groups will be cancelled that night and we encourage everyone to attend the KSM Easter Party where we hope to have a blow-out celebration that represents the joy of the Gospel message.

Summer Sign Ups

Spots are filling up for our Summer events. If you are wanting to grow deeper into relationship and invest more into your faith, the church, the student ministry, or relationship with your peers, these events are a great place to start. For many of our students, these weeks serve as a marker that encourages and influences their entire year. The Zone is for Middle School and Florida is for High School.

No SNF this Sunday

Due to the cross over of Spring Breaks, we will be taking one week off of Sunday Night Fellowship. We will pick back up on March 31st with our spring speaking series, “Spring Cleaning: How does God create change in history and through us?” High School and Middle School will return to their normal locations and times.
