HAPPY BELATED MOTHER’S DAY
We love our moms and we love all the mom-like figures in our lives. We know that what we do would not be possible without our moms. We want to thank you for bringing your nurturing, loving, kind, but firm spirit to us all. Moms, we could not do this without you. You are and called to be a reflection of what the church is supposed to be. Thank you for being what we need when we need it, even when we did not know that we needed it.

ANNOUNCING OUR SPEAKER
Jonathan Jakes, in his last summer with us, will be our official speaker for the Zone. Jonathan is a veteran youth worker and has spent most of his time with us at the Kirk. He is what we call, an expert in youth ministry. By the time he joins us as the Zone speaker, he will have had 8 years working at the Kirk in Youth Ministry, received a Masters of Divinity, and Master of Arts in Counseling. We could not think of a better speaker to have than our very own Jonathan Jakes at his very last Zone conference.

NEW PODCAST EPISODE COMES OUT MONDAY
IS ANXIETY THE LEADING PERSONALITY TRAIT OF TEENAGERS TODAY?
“I have one question for you” - Ep. 2
It is something we talk about often as youth workers because it seems to be such a consuming and trending identifier of teenagers today. Be sure to subscribe to our podcast to get the latest episodes. We are really excited about this one.
We will investigate all of our favorite worship tunes through the rest of May and June. The goal of this series is to give deeper meaning to the songs that we sing in a worship setting. We have asked all of our teachers to bring their favorite worship song/hymn and dissect it among the group so that we can see how that song encourages us to worship and explain why it is worshipful.
