Many women representing many stages of life fill our Sanctuary and hallways. It is our goal to encourage these women, as best we can, to grow closer to each other as they grow closer to the Lord Jesus. Some ways we try to accomplish that are by studying the Bible together, serving together, and just plain having fun together. Below you will find a list of some of the things we do:

Bible Studies

We have several Bible study groups that meet at a variety of times each week. Contact Courtney Doctor if you have questions or just need help picking one!

The women of the Kirk love chances to get together to grow and get to know each other. Check the calendar of upcoming events for information about retreats, dinners, and service projects.

Parenting with a Purpose

Join us on the first Thursday of every month to discuss your high calling as a mom and find fellowship and encouragement from others! We meet at 9 am in Room 213. Childcare provided, but you need to reserve your spot by emailing Kathy Jeffers. For more information, email Courtney Doctor or Susan Needler.

Book Club

The Book Club meets once of month in a home where a group of about ten ladies share their thoughts around a book they've been reading while enjoying dessert with a cup of decaf. The goal is to read books in a rotation: a classic, a contemporary, and a religious. The Book Club has been in existence since 2004, so many pages have been turned by this group! All ladies, young and old, are welcome—completing the book is not essential! If you're interested in coming, contact Karen Schumacher.

Summer Bible Studies

Please prayerfully consider hosting a Bible study in your home this summer! You could invite your neighbors, family members, co-workers, people from the gym, the park, the community center . . . you name it! Below are two recommended studies:

The first study to consider using is The Five Solas: These Truths Alone. Our pastors just finished preaching through each of these five truths . . . so you can always access their sermons online if you want a little more help. And since 2017 is the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, this would be a great time to lead others through the truths that we hold dear!

The second study, Contentment: Healing the Hunger of our Hearts, is the perfect follow up to our Tuesday morning and Wednesday night Bible studies! If you have been attending either of these studies, you are ready to take what you have learned and reach out to others with the same help and hope.
