February 6-8, 2026
We invite you to come to As One, a marriage conference designed to help husbands and wives grow together in unity and understanding. Across three keynote sessions, we’ll explore what it means to love, lead, and submit to one another under Scripture, and how God’s design for marriage shapes our identity, family, and church life. These sessions offer couples a chance to reflect on God’s gracious design for marriage, understand how husband and wife complement one another, and build a foundation for life-long unity and mutual love. There will be an additional three topical breakouts to choose hosted by local couples with a wide variety of marital experience and wisdom.
Whether you are newly married or have decades of marriage behind you — this conference aims to strengthen the bond between you and your spouse, so that you might deepen your commitment to Christ’s design for marriage.
Light refreshments will be available on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Lunch will be provided as a part of the conference on Saturday afternoon. Cost is $40/per person. Childcare is available for Nursery-2nd Grade for $20/per family. If you are in need of a scholarship, email Mike Hall. Register below through Church Center!
Meet the Speaker: Glen Hoburg
Glenn Hoburg is the founding pastor of Grace DC — a church he helped plant in Washington, DC in 2003 — and previously served in campus ministry and as assistant-pastor at several PCA churches. Glenn studied at Covenant Theological Seminary (MDiv, 1997) and earlier at Berklee College of Music, giving him a unique blend of theological depth and love for worship. Over the years, he has led Grace DC to be a vibrant, gospel-centered, urban church — committed to both faithful doctrine and engaging community life. At As One, Glenn brings to bear decades of pastoral and counseling experience, offering biblically grounded teaching about marriage, gender roles, submission, and the gospel-shaped life.

Breakout 1 — Marital Foundations
Led by Zac & Annie Carrera
The everyday dynamics of marriage are often shaped by deeper currents we don’t always pause to consider: our longings and our fears.
This session will explore:
How our hopes and anxieties beneath the surface shape cycles of conflict and connection in marriage.
Why growth in marriage requires more than just "communication".
How the gospel speaks to our deepest longings and fears within marriage.
Practical ways couples can grow in emotional closeness, safety, and understanding
Zac and Annie draw from gospel-centered themes and emotionally focused marriage counseling (EFT) to create space for reflection, guided conversation, and practical next steps couples can take home together.
Breakout 2 — Leave & Cleave (Part 2): Marriage in the Empty-Nest Years
Led by James & Anna Dickson
The empty-nester season can be a time of rediscovery and renewal in marriage — and a fresh call to “leave and cleave.”
This conversational breakout will explore:
how Scripture describes union in marriage
how that union reflects the love of Christ and His church
how major life transitions can challenge — and deepen — that union
practical ways couples can grow closer in the empty-nest years
James & Anna will share personal experience, biblical reflection, and meaningful encouragement for couples navigating this unique and important stage.
Breakout 3 — Intimacy in Marriage
Led by Mark & Mollie Pfuetze
This breakout will provide a thoughtful, honest, and grace-filled space to talk about sexual intimacy within marriage — including expectations, challenges, and how couples can cultivate closeness, trust, and joy over time.
This session is designed to be:
sensitive and respectful
rooted in biblical understanding
approachable for couples in any season of marriage
